How it Works

  What is a 4Ghc Group?
 
   A cell group is part of a larger church and supports the ministry
   of the church.  It is considered to be only a part of the larger
   program of the church.  Many churches today approach their
   group ministry this way.  A 4Ghc Group is different in that it is
   not part of the church, it is the church.  The 4G (home-church)
   Group performs all of the functions of the church - baptism,
   Lord's Supper, discipleship, giving, etc.  It is not a sub-unit of
   an institutionalized church.  It is a group of people networked
   with others in the community which seeks to embody all
   aspects of being the New Testament Church.
 
   The 4G-HomeChurch groups meet during the week at the
   location of their choice.  They spread out all over the target
area.  Group Facilitators embody and lead their group members to embody the 4 "G's" - Grace, Growth, Giving, and Gathering. 

 

Some groups may choose to meet at times corresponding with childcare and student groups on Sundays at The Gathering Place.  All groups come together on Sundays for corporate worship, celebration, personal stories, and response to God.

 

Large gatherings will also be held on a regular basis for the purpose of building a deeper sense of community and strengthening the Christian family of faith.
