Our Vision
(What Are We Becoming?)
One Church Meeting in More than One Location..
The vision of Connections Church is to see a prevailing, multi-location community of believers emerge that will transform the spiritual landscape of southeast Hall County by gathering in scores of small groups for the purpose of making disciples, spiritual growth, and ministry, with a centralized worship center strategically located for the purpose of large-gathering celebration, praise, and adoration of God. In miniature, the vision of Connections Church is "transformation through multiplication."
We envision home-church groups meeting all over the southeastern quadrant of Hall County in homes, offices, cafe's, restaurants, community centers, apartment complexes, mobile home parks, and other venues appropriate for small group gatherings.
For those wishing to experience the intimacy of the small group setting but who are bound by size, space, and childcare issues, small groups will also meet in a central location before and after our large-group worship gatherings, with childcare provided.
We envision our groups, called 4Ghc (home-church) Groups, being networked together through centralized on-line leadership, social-networking, and large-group gatherings. We also envision our 4Ghc Groups being the primary growth and ministry center of Connections Church. Each group will be led by a group facilitator emphasizing the four key components of the Church: GROWTH (spiritual/biblical & missions outreach), GRACE (community service & ministry), GIVING (financial & group care), and GATHERING (doing life together).
As a fellowship of believers operating as one church meeting in more than one location, we envision ourselves becoming a community of Christ-followers that purposively and creatively implements the Great Commission by building significant relationships with non-believers, the religiously disenfranchised, and the de-churched of southeast Hall County.
We see ourselves becoming a significant ministry agent to the community through the meeting of real, practical needs.
We ourselves becoming a safe place where any person desiring to know more about God can learn more without being made to feel less wanted or unloved by others.
We see ourselves becoming a community of worshippers that lead others through the use of a variety of methods, music, and arts to authentically encounter God, freeing them to express their love and gratitude to Him and leading them to want more of His presence.
We see ourselves reproducing ourselves locally, nationally, and globally through church planting and ministry partnerships.
